Refund Policy

1. Purpose
   This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Rapid Glass ATX LLC (“Rapid Glass ATX,” “we,” or “our”) may issue refunds for Smart Film products, accessories, and related services. Because each Smart Film panel is custom-cut to the client’s exact specifications, refunds are limited to specific qualifying circumstances.

2. Non-Refundable Items
   Due to the custom nature of our products, the following items and services are non-refundable once production or installation has begun:

   • Custom-cut Smart Film panels made to order.

   • Installed Smart Film or components that have been applied to glass or wired to power.

   • Controllers, transformers, switches, or wiring that have been installed or energized.

   • Consultation and booking/travel fees (as detailed in our Cancellation Policy).

Each panel is uniquely fabricated for the dimensions and design of your project and cannot be reused, resold, or repurposed once cutting or lamination begins.

3. Refund Eligibility
   Refunds are only issued under the following conditions:

   • Cancellation Before Production – Orders canceled prior to fabrication or cutting may be eligible for a partial refund, less any design, administrative, or processing fees.

   • Company Error – If Rapid Glass ATX manufactures or delivers a product that does not match approved specifications, we will remake or credit the affected material at no additional cost.

   • Defective Product (Prior to Installation) – If a product is found to be defective before installation (e.g., damaged in transit, electrical fault on arrival), we will repair, replace, or issue a refund after inspection and verification.

   • Force Majeure or Company Cancellation – If Rapid Glass ATX cancels an order due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will receive a full refund for unproduced materials or unperformed services.

4. Refund Exclusions
   Refunds will not be issued for:

   • Measurement errors provided by the customer.

   • Color or transparency variations within manufacturer tolerances.

   • Installation issues caused by third-party contractors or improper site preparation.

   • Damage caused by electrical issues, impact, or misuse after installation.

   • Orders placed with incomplete or incorrect measurements once fabrication has started.

   • Third-party electrical work — Since Rapid Glass ATX partners with independent, licensed electricians for high-voltage connections, any portion of the project already completed by these third-party professionals is non-refundable once their work has been performed or materials have been purchased.

5. Post-Installation Approval
   Upon completion of installation, your assigned Sales Representative will either:
   Conduct an in-person walk-through of the site with you, or reach out by phone or email to confirm that the installation meets expectations.

Once this confirmation has occurred — whether in person or by written or verbal acknowledgment — the installation is deemed complete and accepted.
After acceptance, Rapid Glass ATX LLC is not responsible for damages or defects caused by external factors, including cleaning solutions, physical impact, new construction work, or environmental exposure occurring after installation.

6. Inspection Period
   Customers are encouraged to inspect the completed installation immediately.
   Any concerns or visible issues must be reported to support@rapidglassatx.com within 48 hours of completion.
   After this period, all service inquiries will be processed under the Installation Warranty, not as refund requests.

7. No Refunds After Order Confirmation
   Because all Smart Film is custom-cut and fabricated to order, no refunds will be issued after the customer has confirmed order specifications or production has begun.
   By confirming your order and measurements, you acknowledge that the product is being produced specifically for your project and cannot be canceled or refunded once fabrication starts.

8. Product Preference / Removal Fee
   If you decide that you no longer want the Smart Film after installation for reasons unrelated to product performance, workmanship, or any fault of Rapid Glass ATX, we can remove the film upon request.
   Removal will incur a service fee based on the location and total square footage of installed film. This fee covers technician time, travel, and proper material disposal.
   All removal appointments must be scheduled and prepaid before service.

9. Company Discretion for Goodwill Adjustments
   Rapid Glass ATX LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue partial credits, replacements, or goodwill adjustments outside of this policy when deemed appropriate by management.

10. Refund Process
    All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@rapidglassatx.com and include:

    • Customer name and installation address.

    • Order or invoice number.

    • Reason for refund request.

    • Supporting photos or documentation (if applicable).

Refunds, once approved, are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, unless otherwise stated.

11. Shipping and Handling
    Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the refund is due to an error by Rapid Glass ATX.
    In cases of replacement shipments, Rapid Glass ATX will cover the outbound shipping cost for the corrected product.

12. Warranty Reference
    This Refund Policy operates in conjunction with our Installation Warranty.
    If an issue arises after installation due to a manufacturing or electrical defect, the claim will be handled under the Warranty rather than as a refund.

13. Policy Updates
    Rapid Glass ATX LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase will apply.
